Fen Technology Log Another Remote Telemetry Success Story

Fen Technology Ltd, an electronic design services company, today announced the successful delivery of a remote telemetry GPRS logging solution to Energy Metering Technology (EMT) for use in the energy management industry.

EMT is a well-established industry leader in the provision of complete energy and water management solutions. The Fen-developed Ethernet & GPRS based logging functional block has been designed to integrate with the existing range of EMT monitoring units and backend analysis tools.

Fen has extensive experience in embedded wireless solutions for a number of applications. This extends from short range logistical solutions and Personal Area Network technologies such as RFID, Zigbee & Bluetooth, to longer range telemetry communication units based on Wi-Fi, GPS, GPRS, 3G & other international mobile standards. Increasingly, where multiple standards are being implemented in a product, the selection of multi-standard modular solutions and the careful design of antennas for co-existence become more critical to design success.
